Why We Founded Laik
Having the Lake District as our backdrop, we couldn’t bear the thought of guests not relishing every moment in this idyllic setting. We wanted to create holiday homes where our visitors can truly feel comfortable and relaxed, so they can fully enjoy the beauty that surrounds them.
That’s why we pour our heart and soul into curating every detail of our holiday homes. Each property is a labour of love, with thoughtful attention paid to even the smallest elements. We go above and beyond for our guests, providing not just a place to stay, but a home away from home.

Over the years, we’ve had the privilege of travelling the world and staying in a myriad of accommodations, from luxury hotels and quaint B&Bs to unique holiday homes. We’ve had our breath taken away by stunning interiors and found ourselves vexed by missing utensils or uncomfortable beds.
