Lambhowe Lodge is a luxurious newly built home, set in the heart of the tranquil Lyth Valley, yet only a ten minute drive to Lake Windermere & Bowness. Located on the entrance to Lambhowe caravan Park, it offers a beautiful, spacious & stylish space to enjoy quality time with family & friends. An Ideal base for exploring The Lake District with many superb eateries close by.

Inside

From the moment you step into the light-filled kitchen-diner, you’ll feel the care and craft that’s gone into every corner. There’s a full-size Aga, a generous dining table for eight, comfy leather sofas, a smart TV and doors that open out to the patio. It’s the kind of kitchen you’ll want to linger in.

The main lounge has a log burner, deep sofas, a second smart TV and even a table tennis table for family tournaments. Kids also get their own space to unwind in the dedicated playroom, complete with beanbags, board games and a Wii console.

Downstairs you’ll find Bedroom 1, a large super king with smart TV and a spacious ensuite (bath, shower, toilet, basin). Upstairs, Bedrooms 2 and 3 both have double beds, smart TVs and window seats perfect for morning coffee. A generous family bathroom sits between them, with a walk-in shower and bath. Bedroom 4 features a super king (also splittable into twins) and its own ensuite with shower.

There’s also a utility room, separate downstairs WC, and lots of thoughtful touches throughout to make your stay feel effortless.

Outside

To the front is ample parking for up to six cars. Out back, there’s a patio with outdoor dining furniture and a patch of artificial lawn where kids can play. You’re surrounded by views of the valley and rolling countryside, quiet, green and peaceful.

Please note the house is located on a private, owners-only holiday park, so while it’s incredibly serene, it’s not a party property, it’s a place to relax, unwind and reconnect

Location

Located just outside Crosthwaite in the Lyth Valley, an area known for its damson orchards, you’re within easy reach of Windermere and Bowness, both packed with boutiques, cafés and lakefront spots for paddleboarding, boat trips or just a lakeside drink.

Walk around the corner to the Damson Dene Hotel for dinner, spa treatments, or a swim (open to non-residents), or head to The Masons Arms, The Brown Horse at Winster, or The Punchbowl at Crosthwaite, all fantastic local pubs within a short drive.

Ground Floor:

  • Entrance via the large driveway with ample parking for up to 6 cars.
  • Spacious Kitchen-Diner, complete with an Aga and large dining table for 8, 2 leather sofas and a smart tv.
  • Utility room with a separate toilet and basin.
  • A beautiful lounge with an open fire, large smart tv, 2 large sofas and a table tennis table.
  • Bedroom 1 – Sleeps 2. A large super king bed which can be split into 2 singles on request with an ensuite bathroom, comprising of a bath, shower, toilet and basin. Complete with a smart tv.
  • The Play Room – Perfect for the children to hang out and play on the wii console or to dive into the array of board games. Complete with snuggly beanbags.

 

Upstairs:

  • Bedroom 2 – sleeps 2. This is a spacious room with a double bed, window seat and smart tv.
  • Bedroom 3 – sleeps 2. This room is almost identical to bedroom 3, with a double bed, window seat and smart tv.
  • Large Family Bathroom – complete with a large walk in shower, bath, toilet and basin.
  • Bedroom 4 – sleeps 2. This beautiful bedroom has a super king size bed which can be split into 2 singles on request with an ensuite bathroom comprising of a shower, toilet, vanity unit and basin. Standard tv.

 

Exterior: Patio area with dining set, perfect for Al Fresco dining and garden area with artificial grass.

Things to note:

  • Please note that due to the seclusion and location of the house on a private owners only holiday park, the house is not suitable for parties. Perfect for families and for groups of friends.
  • The whole ground floor (bar one small room) and first floor can be used with the exception of the balcony over the lounge. This door has to remain closed at all times to comply with fire regulations. This door has been locked for your safety.
  • Outside of the house, please keep to the confines of the house exterior footprint and the outdoor patio and Astroturf areas. Please do not walk, run or jump off the stone wall bordering the house – thank you.

🚫Strictly no parties or excessive noise, this is a peaceful location meant for relaxing stays.

🏊‍♀️ The owner has paid for a Damson Dene membership. Use of the membership card gives you access to pool, jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and gym. It also gets you an additional 10% off food and beverages.

💳 Damage Deposit: At Laik, we place a £200 deposit hold on your card as a safety measure, ensuring a carefree stay for both you and us. This isn’t a charge, just a temporary hold. Expect this to be set up either the day before you arrive or on your check-in date.

Once you’ve checked out and we’ve made sure everything’s as lovely as when you arrived, we’ll promptly release the hold, freeing up those funds for you. It’s all part of making your stay smooth and secure.

Where you'll be

Located in Crosthwaite in the beautiful Lyth Valley, only a 10 minute drive from Lake Windermere and Bowness.  Bowness and Windermere each offering an array of boutique shops, charming cafes, and fine dining options. Head to Lake Windermere for water activities or outdoor pursuits.

Walk round the corner to The Damson Dene Hotel where you can grab a bite to eat or enjoy a swim in the pool (membership included in the stay) or a Spa treatment, or for a scrumptious pub meal you can head 10 minutes in the car to The Masons Arms, The Brown Horse at Winster or The Punchbowl at Crosthwaite.
