Welcome to Robin’s Nest, a beautifully renovated top-floor apartment in the heart of Ambleside. This stylish retreat, located in the historic Old Bank House, offers a perfect blend of modern comfort and charming character, making it an ideal base for your Lake District getaway.

Cosy and Modern Living Spaces

Step into Robin’s Nest through the main entrance of Old Bank House, either from the front or the back of the property. Upon arrival, you’ll receive a door code for easy access. Once inside, head up to the second floor, where you’ll find your home away from home.

The open-plan living area is designed for relaxation and socialising, featuring a comfy sofa, a snug reading nook, and a dining table for four. The modern kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, from crockery and cutlery to an oven, hob, kettle, toaster, microwave, Nespresso coffee machine and dishwasher. Large windows provide plenty of natural light and offer stunning views over Ambleside and the surrounding hills, creating a serene atmosphere for your stay.

Comfortable Bedrooms

Robin’s Nest features two inviting double bedrooms, each thoughtfully furnished with ample storage and a smart TV (please note, logins are required). The bedrooms provide a cosy and restful space to unwind after a day of exploring the beautiful Lake District.

Property Layout

Entryways: There are 2 entryways to the building’s shared hallway:
- One from the back of the property near the parking space.
- Another from the main road, Lake Road (Laik Road).
Smart Lock Access: Both entryways are secured with smart locks. You’ll receive a code to unlock the hallway door.
Key Safe: Outside the apartment door, you’ll find a Masterlock key safe. Enter the code provided to access the key for the apartment.
Stairs: The apartment is located on the top floor and requires using the stairs to reach it.
Single-Level Apartment: Once inside, the apartment is all on one floor for easy living and convenience.

Things to know

💳 Damage Deposit: At Laik, we place a £200 deposit hold on your card as a safety measure, ensuring a carefree stay for both you and us. This isn’t a charge, just a temporary hold. Expect this to be set up either the day before you arrive or on your check-in date.

Once you’ve checked out and we’ve made sure everything’s as lovely as when you arrived, we’ll promptly release the hold, freeing up those funds for you. It’s all part of making your stay smooth and secure.
