Relaxed Open-Plan Living

The open-plan living space at The Warren is made for slow mornings and relaxed evenings after a day exploring the Lakes. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you’ll need, including an oven, hob, microwave, toaster, and plenty of cookware for easy meals at home. A large breakfast bar creates a sociable dining space, perfect for morning coffees, casual lunches, or planning the next day’s adventures. The comfortable living area completes the room with a TV, board games, and an ornamental fireplace styled to resemble a traditional log burner, adding a cosy Lakeland touch.

Spacious Bedrooms Across Two Floors

The Warren offers two beautifully presented and generously sized bedrooms, giving everyone plenty of room to relax and unwind.

On the first floor: Spacious king-size bedroom with a wardrobe, a chest of drawers and a TV.

Large modern bathroom with a walk-in shower, basin, WC and heated towel rail.

On the second floor: Bright and airy twin bedroom with a wardrobe and a chest of drawers, tucked beneath the eaves, creating a cosy yet spacious retreat for children, friends, or additional guests.

Soft bed linen and fluffy towels are all provided, so you can settle in comfortably from the moment you arrive.

Outdoor Space

To the front of the house, there’s a small seating area with a table and chairs overlooking the parking area — a lovely little spot for a morning coffee or a drink in the evening sunshine after a day out exploring.

Best of all, The Warren is just a short stroll from the heart of Bowness-on-Windermere, with its independent shops, cafés, pubs, and restaurants all close by, along with the shores of Lake Windermere just down the hill. Whether you’re spending your days out on the water or your evenings relaxing after a day on the fells, The Warren offers the perfect mix of comfort, character, and location.

  • Open-Plan Living/Dining/Kitchen Area: Lounge has large Smart TV with Freeview channels (apps require own login), and ornamental fireplace (fire cannot be used)  Kitchen  is fully equipped with modern appliances and there is an adjacent dining breakfast bar to seat four.

 

First Floor:

  • King size bedroom: Spacious room with wardrobe, chest of drawers and Smart TV (own login required)

 

Bathroom:

  • Large shower room: with walk-in shower, basin, WC and heated towel rail.  Luxury toiletries supplied for your convenience along with towels.

 

Second Floor:

  • Twin bedroom: Very spacious with two full size single beds, wardrobe and chest of drawers.

 

Outdoor Space:  To the front is a small patio area with garden furniture.  Parking for one car in front of the cottage.

🚫Strictly no parties or excessive noise, this is a peaceful location meant for relaxing stays.

💳 Damage Deposit: At Laik, we place a £200 deposit hold on your card as a safety measure, ensuring a carefree stay for both you and us. This isn’t a charge, just a temporary hold. Expect this to be set up either the day before you arrive or on your check-in date.

Once you’ve checked out and we’ve made sure everything’s as lovely as when you arrived, we’ll promptly release the hold, freeing up those funds for you. It’s all part of making your stay smooth and secure.
