Heathmere is a semi detached property and is a real treat, nestled in Windermere and perfect for anyone looking to explore the Lakes with their furry friends in tow (yes, we’re pet-friendly for up to 2 dogs!). With loads of free parking and stunning views over the Langdales right from the window, Heathmere is your cosy base for adventure and relaxation.

Welcome to Heartmere! Your journey inside begins through a convenient porch, offering ample storage for your shoes and coats – a perfect spot to leave behind the day’s adventures. Stepping into the spacious hallway, you’re at the heart of the home. Here, you can ascend the stairs to explore the upper level or venture into the living spaces on the ground floor.

Ground Floor:

Living/Dining Room: To your left, a warm and inviting living/dining room awaits. This space, overlooking the driveway, combines comfort and style, making it an ideal spot for relaxation and meals.

Kitchen: Straight ahead from the hallway, the kitchen serves as the hub of the home. Positioned at the back, it not only provides all you need for your culinary exploits but also gives access to the outdoors. An external door leads you to steps up to the top of the garden, where a sitting/BBQ area offers a tranquil setting for outdoor enjoyment.

Utility Room & WC: Adjacent to the kitchen, a handy utility room houses a washer and dryer, alongside a downstairs WC, adding convenience to your stay.

Upper Floor:

Single Bedroom: The first room you’ll encounter upstairs is a cosy single bedroom, complete with a single bed and plenty of storage for your belongings.

Full Bathroom: Located across the hallway from the single bedroom, the full bathroom is equipped to cater to your needs.

Double Bedrooms: Further along, you’ll find two double bedrooms. The first faces the back of the property, offering peace and privacy. The second, a double bedroom with an en-suite, boasts lovely views over the Langdale Pikes, the fells, and the lake, providing a picturesque backdrop to your rest.

With its prime location, Heathmere serves as the ultimate base for exploring the Lakes, whether you’re looking to wander through Windermere or venture further into the wild beauty of the Lake District.

🐕 Pet-Friendly  (£25 per stay): Two well-behaved dogs are welcome to join the adventure, ensuring the entire family can enjoy the beauty of the Lakes together (just remember to keep the furniture paw-free).

💳 Damage Deposit: At Laik, we place a £200 deposit hold on your card as a safety measure, ensuring a carefree stay for both you and us. This isn’t a charge, just a temporary hold. Expect this to be set up either the day before you arrive or on your check-in date.

Once you’ve checked out and we’ve made sure everything’s as lovely as when you arrived, we’ll promptly release the hold, freeing up those funds for you. It’s all part of making your stay smooth and secure.

Children and Pets must be supervised outside at all times as there is a drop from the decking down to the lower garden level. It is fenced but could be climbed by a determined child.

Where you'll be

Heathmere, a delightful semi-detached house nestled in the heart of Windermere village. With lovely with views stretching out to the gorgeous Lakeland fells.

 

All the amenities you need are close by, including a handy community store for your day-to-day essentials. Queens Park, right on our doorstep, is a hit with families. Little ones will love the swings and slides, while older kids can show off their skills at the large skate ramp.

 

For a breath of fresh air, there’s no shortage of walks nearby. Orrest Head and School Knott are fantastic for a leisurely stroll or a challenging hike. And if you fancy a day by the water, Lake Windermere, including the lovely Miller Ground spot perfect for a BBQ, is just a short walk away. All in all, it’s a pretty brilliant spot for your Lake District adventure!
